    Subsidies or Bankruptcy?

    2010 - 06.03

If you ever concerned about your own country recently, I am sure most of you got a message from pemandu.gov.my asking whether should Malaysia cut subsidies or not. Malaysians have been enjoying cheap petrol prices since many years ago. I remember few years ago when government increased a mere RM0.20 (thereabout) on the petrol. It had became so chaotic among Malaysians. For the rich, it could be nothing, yet, for the normal/poor, it is definitely a disaster.

Since government is already planning to move forward for this implementation, why would they ask us this question? It seems like there are Yes and No. But, think deeply, in fact, there are no options at all because they have already mentioned that if we are not gonna cut down the subsidies, Malaysia will need to bear with heavy debts and gone into bankruptcy in just 9 years. Poor government. You are the one spoiled your people by giving lots of subsidies. Make people of yours felt so wealthy. Are you sure cutting down subsidies is an essential decision? Why put all the blames on subsidies? Think. What have you spent those money on?

Comparison of HYC, DC & SOX/OUX

    2010 - 05.08

This post is written for those who have intentions to buy a student prepaid plan.

First of all, if you were to ask me, I would prefer Hotlink Youth Club. I have tried all three different student prepaid plan and ended up back to Hotlink. It depends on each individual. It seems that some of its rates are relatively expensive compared to others. Yet, Hotlink Youth Club is good in terms of the reliability. Further, Hotlink has the RM2/hour pass for internet usage. For those who need not to use up to RM8/day, you may choose to purchase RM2/hour pass from your *100#.

    Maxis MNP

    2010 - 04.28

I guessed it should be as easy as 123 for them. Yet, they took me 2 days to process it. Here goes the story. I am having a Tunetalk prepaid number that I would like to port in to Hotlink prepaid. I went to the Maxis’s website and try to port in using online form, however, only Digi, Celcom and Umobile are in the list.

Then, I called up Maxis helpline and asked two different operators to see if my number can be ported in to Hotlink prepaid, they said Yes. Till then, the night I emailed Maxis to reconfirm this matter, so that the next day I need not to spend extra time to go to Maxis Centre for nothing. The customer care officer replied me and said Yes Tunetalk prepaid can be ported in to Hotlink prepaid.

    Certain Flights Resume in Europe

    2010 - 04.21

LONDON – The first flight has landed at London’s Heathrow Airport — Europe’s busiest hub — since airspace across the continent was closed by ash spewed from a volcano in Iceland.

Many European flights took to the skies Tuesday as airports slowly reopened, but the travel chaos was far from over: A massive flight backlog was growing and scientists feared yet another eruption.

A flight from Vancouver landed at London’s Heathrow shortly before 2200GMT (6 p.m. EDT) — the first since flight paths were closed after Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull (ay-yah-FYAH’-plah-yer-kuh-duhl) volcano erupted Wednesday.

British Airways said it hoped about 24 other flights bound from the United States, Africa and Asia would land later Tuesday at Heathrow.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP’s earlier story is below.

LONDON (AP) — European airports lurched back to life on Tuesday, but the travel gridlock created by Iceland’s volcanic ash plume was far from over: Officials said it would be weeks before tens of thousands of stranded travelers can be brought home.

Taiwanese Lin Yu Chun Sings Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” LIVE

    2010 - 04.10

Oh.. This song is sung by Charice Pempengco before.. :) And, in this video, his voice is cool.. It reminds me of Susan Boyle.. The judges were kinda insulting when Susan Boyle walked out to the stage.. Probably because of her outlook..It was the same case as this guy.. His outlook not so cool, anyhow, this guy is great, and glad that he does not being insulted or being suspected for his ability to sing like Whitney Houston..
